I've seen this latest "blog game" on a couple of different blogs now and I've decided to play along...
Rules:
1. Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together (it doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, just anything that you remember).
2. Re-post these instructions on your blog. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

It's over!
Our baseball season is over. Alex's team went to State. Not sure what happened, but they fell apart! So they are out of the tournament, but that's okay, football is just around the corner! In fact, we picked up his football equipment Saturday! I'm kinda glad they are done! It's been nice to just be home the last couple of nights with nothing but yard work to do. We are so excited for Alex to start football. Since he will be in 9th grade, he can go out for the High School team. Although, our preference is that he stays in Little League this last season and gets more reps as a quarterback!
I'm starting to really feel old now! I have a high schoooler!
This is the only picture I think I took this year of Alex! I am getting really bad at that! If someone (Troy) would just buy me a new camera, a better one, I'd probably take more pictures!

THE INNOCENCE OF YOUTH!
The other night, Max was reading me a bedtime story. If you know me, you know that picture books are my favorite! Maybe that says someting about me, I'm not sure! Hopefully it says I'm young at heart, not a "short bus rider"! Anyway he chose to read his favortie book, "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Fly-Guy". We love this book, the pictures are fantastic! It has a similar story line to the song, "There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Fly". In the book we reached the point where the Old Lady swallows a goat to catch the dog. Max stopped for a moment. He thought about this and replied, "That is so dumb! Why would a goat catch a dog?" I kinda giggled! The fact that that was the most absurd thing about the story seemed a little funny to me! It's amazing how different our perspective can be! I love that kid! He makes us laugh everyday!
This is his first place trophy! His baseball team, the Red Sox took first place! He went offer to Bo and Brooklyn's house to show it off! It's almost as big as he is! He is super proud of it and we are super proud of him!
