KaitiBug is off to Camp!

Tomorrow is the big day. My baby goes off to Dance camp at BYU. I am so very excited for her, in fact I think I am more excited than she is! We bought her a new piece of luggage it's way cute. And her very on hair dryer. As part of her YW Beehive project, she made her own fleece blankie to take with her. It has been really nice to spend this prep time with her. I am glad she gets to go away to camp! I think it's so exciting and would have loved to have gone myself! I do remember going to Mill Hollow, if you leave in Salt Lake, you may have done that too! They don't offer that in the schools anymore :(.
It's good that she gets this time all to herself. I know it sucks to be the middle child, and I know how bad it is to be identified as someone's sister rather than as Kaiti! At dance camp, no one knows her brothers. She is on her own and can be just Kaiti for awhile! I love ya' Kaiti! Have fun!

I love your blog! You have a very fun background as well...I went to Mill Hollow! I loved it all day, but I did not like it at night because there had been bear sightings and I slept right next to the window of the cabin I was in, and I was just sure that bear could break the glass and get me...why in the world would a bear care that much? I have no idea. I was 8. Crazy me as an 8 year old.

Anyway, I'm excited to keep reading about your cute family!

Oh boy, teenage girls! I'm not sure Im prepared for that! Luggage, hair dryers, special blankets, dance camp, etc!! When you've only got one though, she should be spoiled like a princess!! I like her jacket... 1987! Like that was soooo long ago! It's like you and me wearing a shirt that says 1954! Makes me feel OLD!!! BTW, she is beautiful!

It was fun to find your blog, Julie. Wow, you've been at this for a while! I'm impressed. Blogs are such a great way to keep in touch and get to know more about people (besides what we see at church)...I totally miss your comments in my RS lessons BTW. It was fun to visit YW a couple of weeks ago. The beehives are so cute. Kaiti is a doll; hope she had a great week at camp--I would have LOVED to go to something like that.

What a cute girl! Camps were my favorite when I was younger! I loved having a break from home and my Mom loved having a break from me. You are such a cute Mom getting her all ready to go! She's lucky to have you!
