Kicking it up!

This year just Kaiti and I went to dance competition and left the boys at home. It was a fun road trip, although my old out of shape body didn't like the drive very much. But we made good time, a little over 3 hours there and back! Kaiti's team took 1st Place in both dances and now are qualified for Nationals at Lagoon. They didn't get the All-Around, but they should have. Here our some pics of my favorite KaitiBug and the road trip as well.

This is just one of the many pictures Kaiti took on the way down that she is absolutely certain inspired some of the scenes from the movie Cars!

What's a road trip without a jaunt down memory lane? When I saw this station wagon, it reminded me of the Witbecks who lived across the street from us growing up. We were so jealous when they got a station wagon just like this, wood panel and all-except theirs was green!

This is one of my favorite pictures. I just wish my windows would have been cleaner!

#$%#%!!! Don't I wish I looked that good! What a cute shape she has! Oh, and the dancing ain't to shabby either! (she's going to kill me for saying that!)

This dance had a 70's theme-hence the Saturday Night Fever moves!

This is my favorite move of this dance. I have no idea what it's called but it looks really cool, this picture doesn't do it justice-neither does the fat head at the bottom, come on people, that's my kid dancing! Get out of the way!

Girls are so fun to watch sometimes!

So fun!!! Who does she dance for? We've just re-entered the dancing scene...here we go! Alyssa played the violin for the past 3 years and finally begged enough to dance again! LOVE the station wagon picture-Casey & I have laughed more than once about how fun/funny it would be to own one of those babies! Can you IMAGINE the horror our kids would feel if we picked them up from school in it? It'd be kinda fun to trade it around with other parents-we should all pitch in and buy one! :)

Go Kaiti! So fun! I wasn't a dancer so if I ever have a girl I would hope she'd get Brody's moves...not mine...or she'd never make a teaM! Kaiti looks so stinkin cute in her dance outfits! looks like you had fun!
